Unspeakably rude service for no good reason at all, and the hours posted on the exterior are NOT dependable. I walked into this bar at about 10:30 on a weekday, and right away some lady behind the bar says, "We're closed!" even though half a dozen people were sitting at the bar. So I walked back out, disappointed, because it looked like a really fun and colorful place. Then I looked at the sign on the outside of the bar to make sure I wasn't losing my mind about the times the bar was SUPPOSED to be open and sure enough...they were closing, like, hours early. What the heck? I walked back into to ask if the bar hours posted on the outside were incorrect and the Wicked Witch Of the West Of the Pecos starts yelling, "I said we're closed." And I explained that if they were closed, the hours on the outside were incorrect. Perhaps they should correct that? And she's yelling, "I SAID WE'RE CLOSED GET OUT BEFORE I CALL THE COPS." Meanwhile, the other bartender--a young woman with dark hair--is looking at me with an expression like she's REALLY sorry, but of course she isn't in charge, the crazy lady is. I turned and walked out, delivering this final bon mot, as follows: "The sign also says 'friendly service,' so I guess the sign contains more than one falsehood. I'll be writing a nasty review on Google." Promises...kept.

If you are West of the Pecos on I-10, exit at Hwy 17 to experience this place! Angie the bar manager offers great food and drinks in a western bar located in front of the Davis Mountains. Angie offers a special welcome to travellers and tells you “straight” how it really is !! Her straight and abrasive talk cuts to the chase.. and makes you realize that this not a “reality show” “ GO ANGIE” Dave the Englishman

Wrong location on trip advisor, its right off I10 next to the Valero and hours on sunday open at 5pm.
